  • Last Day: 15 replicas to hand out to class

I made rubber and linoleum stamps of imaginary sea animals, and printed them onto 16 sheets of canvas.

Everyone received a small collection of artwork from each class member.

  • VMFA / HIstorical Made-Up Story Project

(Fabric / Plexiglass / Projector / Water Bubbles)

Headpiece meant to distort the viewer’s perception of the projected kaleidoscope. Viewers had to lay down with their head in the secluded dark tent, forced to look at the bubbles and the changing colors within the plexiglass structure.

  • As the final part of the film/photo group’s work, Thomas and I edited several of the Kentaro photos and turned them into graphics. Also, we made mock magazine covers to be posted online and provide some legitimacy to Kentaro’s fame. I made the Vogue cover, and Thomas made the TIME one. I had two of the graphics printed large enough to be held up as posters for the parade, and I also printed several copies of a headshot for Kentaro to sign and give out to his fans.

  • Another project that the film/photo team worked on was Kentaro’s Celebrity Photoshoot. As a team, we chose props and scoped out the best locations for Kentaro’s shoot. My job, along with Thomas, was to shoot the images and edit them.

  • This is one of the videos that the film/photo group created for the Kenatro Publicity Campaign. We decided to make this video a comedy rather than a serious advertisement, and we incorporated some mock TMZ celebrity shots. My job was to organize the group and direct several parts. I was also in charge of shooting all the footage and helping with a few of the first edits.
